Reports reach ed Greenville today that a cloudburst visited Gre2nt county Wedensday night, in that seethm around Hooker ton and Lizzie, reaching over into Pitt comity as far as Ballards Cross Roads and the vicinity of Farmville. State Auditor Baxter Durham is mailing out a half million dollars in checks for Confed erate veterans as pension money for the first six months of 1522. iThis money will be available at the' office of the clerks of court -In each county of the state on June 15, five days be fore the. reunion in Richmond, , The state is giving the vets a million dollars a year, payable semi-annually.
